A FEW TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The stops, arranged on 4 keyboards and one pedal-board,
with a console offering innumerable recordable combinations.
This allows to perform any musical work, from the early times to
contemporary music through J.S. Bach and the Romantics.
The sound volume of the VSO is such as to be able
to blend perfectly with that of any large symphonic orchestra.
No acoustic trick is used in this project. The
pipes are the only sound source; they are distributed in 14 cases,
each one with 1 to 3 stops and placed on mobile skids provided
with elevators.
The size of each case has been calculated to allow
them to be shipped in containers.
All the cases, with triple-layered
Plexiglas slats, have autonomous air-feeding systems.
They are linked to the console by one coaxial
cable for all the controlling actions. The action system will
be that advocated in 1972 in The organ, retrospect, prospect as realized later by Blancafort, for Tenerife/a -->.
Thus, the slightest movement of the finger is instantly relayed
to the pallet by radio-waves.
